God Is in the Small Stuff
Published in Hardcover by Promise Pr (January, 2003)
Average review score:

Refreshing! This book has answered so many of my questions as I search for a clear way to be a Christian in today's world, as a young adult. The chapters like "Arrange Your Priorities" and "Contentment Is Good for the Soul" are arranged in easy to read passages, with great biblical quotes and little suggestions on how to be a better Christian. Some suggestions are easy and will help you right away, some are definitely things to work on and keep in mind for the long haul. I found myself nodding with every passage though- it's so right on! A definite recommend to everyone!
Very ClearThis book is very clear in its message. It gives great advice about how to live a Chritian life. I was very impressed by the straitforwardness of the book. This book is a definate must for both the newest Christian or the oldest beleiver.

I Have an Olive Tree
Published in Library Binding by Harpercollins Juvenile Books (May, 1999)
Average review score:

This book brought me to tearsI am originaly from Greece and I loved this book. There is no better way to demonstrate the love of family and heritage than from the eyes of a child. The olive tree is one of the most powerful symbols of the Greek culture. Under the warm mediteranean sun, its products have provided the foundation of the Greek diet for thousands of years. It has a very special place in the heart of every Greek. If you are Greek you may cry when reading this book. If you are not Greek you will definitely be touched. Besides the beautiful story the illustrations are beautiful, extremely well done. If you want to give a present to a Greek, of any age, I can thing of nothing better than this book. By the way, I planted my olive tree when I was six years old and I plan to show it to my child as soon as he is old enough to understand.
Beautiful symbolismI Have an Olive Tree is a simplistic yet poignant childrens' book about the symbolism of family and love. I use it in my fourth grade class to discuss culture and families. The illustrations are also powerful and upbeat. I am buying several to give as gifts!

Little Nino's Pizzeria
Published in Paperback by Harcourt (October, 1991)
Average review score:

My kids' favorite book! After a hundred readings, this is still our children's favorite book
Excellent! My kids adore this book. It's a very quick read--you can zip right through the short, meaty text. Yet the message is profound. Nino the pizza-maker closes down his cheerful little pizzeria and builds a big, fancy restaurant. He makes lots of money, but sacrifices precious time with his family, comes home exhausted and no longer enjoys his work. Saddest of all, he neglects his little son Tony, formerly known as his "best helper." Fortunately, Nino quickly realizes his mistake. He leaves the big restaurant behind and reopens his beloved pizzeria...renaming it after his son. It's amazing how the author manages to tell this whole story in so few words, and the vibrant, colorful artwork perfectly captures the characters' emotions. This book is a winner!

Step in Time
Published in Paperback by Signet (March, 1996)
Average review score:

Delightful RegencyMs. Barbour's knowledge of the Regency era is as solid as her power of reasoning. Both combined allowed her to create a believable time-travel story -- not an easy task for any writer. Fans of the conventional Regency romance will like this book and so will anyone who enjoys a well-plotted story.
This is indeed a keeper. I have it on my shelf.

A definite keeper!I have read many romance time travel novels and only a handful are worth rereading. This book is one of them. It's truly a delight, and for once I was actually disappointed when the book came to an end!

Turtles of the United States and Canada
Published in Paperback by Smithsonian Institution Press (October, 2000)
Average review score:

I'm glad that they had a reprintVery much detailed description of each and every turtles and tortoises found in the US and Canada, from anatomy to behavior to breeding. It's a must for any experienced chelonian enthusiast. Although, I would not recommend this book to a novice.
Necessary book for turtle lovers! This book is a must have for turtle lovers everywhere. It is a clear and concise reference book for the known species of turtles and tortoises in the U.S. and Canada. The authors are both well known scholars in the field of herpetology. Carl Ernst has written many scientific papers on a variety of chelonian species. His partner, Barbour is also well known throughout the reptile world. Being a professional herpetologist, I feel that this was a perfect addition to my collection of books.
